Health & Fitness Expo returns

Annual Event to be held March 22 & 23 at Alex Madonna Expo Center

The 2014 San Luis Obispo County Health & Fitness Expo, to be held the weekend of March 22-23, will feature a wealth of products and services on display for those seeking health, fitness and wellness information. Representatives from area hospitals, senior care and assisted living facilities, fitness studios and athletic gyms will be on hand to answer questions as will doctors, dentists, chiropractors, skin care specialists, weight loss advisors and others offering tips for healthy eating options, alternative health care options, and much more! 

This not-to-be missed annual event offers something for the entire community and is an opportunity to discover a multitude of resources and ideas for health and fitness on the Central Coast. Find a new doctor, join a gym, learn more about healthy lifestyle options and be surrounded by some of the area’s most sought-after experts at this time-saving and exciting “one-stop” destination.

The expo promises a full weekend of activities for the community. In addition to featuring over 100 exhibitors, there will be exciting seminars, fun group performances, and free medical testing.  

The Expo kicks off on Saturday, March 22 at 8:30 a.m. with a 5K Fun Run benefitting Community Health Centers. The run will start and finish at the Alex Madonna Expo Center, located at 100 Madonna Road in San Luis Obispo, and take participants to Cerro San Luis and back. 

Activities will take place throughout the day and continue on Sunday. The Expo runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and entrance is free. For more information, go to slohealthandfitness.com.
