Central Coast is home to Mixed Martial Arts champ

Castle Williams maintains perfect MMA record

The folks at Pit North in Atascadero have a lot to celebrate as they bid farewell to 2013 and welcome the New Year. On Dec. 7 in Las Vegas, Pit North owner and head trainer Castle Williams won his Mixed Martial Arts Fight by Guillotine Submission 2 minutes 22 seconds into the very first round at King of the Cage, Future Legends 19.

With his latest win, Williams’ amateur MMA record is now 6-0. Williams trains under the legendary John Hackleman at Pit Headquarters in Arroyo Grande and is the youngest owner, at only 19 years of age, of a Pit Gym.

Less than a week after this last fight, Williams was offered a title shot at the 145 lb belt. This championship bout will take place on Feb. 8 at the Eastside Cannery Casino in Las Vegas and is sure to be an exciting main event. Planning a trip to Las Vegas in 2014? This may be the time to visit and come out and support this Central Coast phenom.
